Pricing
An AI receptionist that answers every call and books appointments straight into your Google or Outlook calendar, 24 hours a day. No tiers to decode, no per-minute meter, and a 30-day free trial before you pay a penny.
Setup is ten minutes, once: connect your calendar, add your services and prices, point your number at it. After that there’s nothing to do: calls get answered day and night, and you just watch the bookings land in your diary.
£49 is the founding-rate price for the first ten businesses, and it stays £49 for as long as you’re subscribed. Later customers will pay £69. Your seat is locked when you start your free trial (that’s when card details go in), not by just creating an account, so start the trial to claim it.

The going rate
A small business has four realistic options for its phone. Here they are, priced honestly.
| Feature | Voicemail | Answering service | Human receptionist | Vocalenda |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Typical monthly cost | £0 | £50–£400+ | £1,800+ | £49 flat |
| Answers at 8pm, Sundays, bank holidays | Office hours on most plans | Working hours only | ||
| Books straight into your calendar | Takes a message instead | |||
| Answers several callers at once | Depends on plan | One call at a time | 3 in parallel | |
| Texts the customer a confirmation | If you set it up | |||
| Remembers your regulars | ||||
| Charges per call or per minute | – | Usually, and it stacks up | – | Never |
We’re not out to replace receptionists. A great one does far more than answer a phone, and if your business can justify one, hire one. Most independent salons and one-person businesses can’t. That’s who this is priced for.
The maths is short
62% of small-business calls never reach a human, and callers who hit voicemail rarely leave a message. They ring the next business on Google. Every one of those calls is work you already earned by ranking, advertising, or being recommended.
You don’t need it to be transformative. You need it to catch one call a month you’d have missed. Everything after that is profit.
A month, worked out
Everything included
Hand it out and confirmation texts come from the very number the customer called. Forward your existing number to it instead, and texts come from your Vocalenda number, signed with your business name.
Evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and any time your hands are already full. Every call gets picked up.
It reads your live Google or Outlook calendar, offers real slots, and books while the caller is still on the line, rescheduling and cancelling too.
Each staff member gets their own connected calendar and their own availability. No per-seat pricing.
“Mornings only for me” or “I’m allergic to bleach” is remembered and used naturally the next time that number rings.
If a question is genuinely beyond it, it says so honestly and leaves the message on your dashboard before the caller hangs up.
Fair use is 500 call minutes a month, enough for around 250 bookings at a typical two-minute call. If you ever use them all, calls pause until your month resets. There are no overage charges, because there is no such thing on this plan. Need more? Email hello@vocalenda.com and we’ll sort you out.
Pricing questions
No. £49 a month is the whole price. No setup fee, no onboarding charge, no notice period when you leave.
Everything. Your number, calendar sync, staff calendars, SMS confirmations. It's the full product, not a cut-down version. If it doesn't book you more work than it costs, cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
The first ten businesses pay £49 a month instead of the standard £69, locked in for as long as they stay subscribed. A seat is claimed when you start your free trial, which is when you add card details at checkout; creating an account on its own doesn't hold one. The first three of those ten willing to share their real numbers also get 60 days free in total, the usual 30-day trial doubled. It's our thank-you for joining early, while the testimonial wall is still empty.
No. The plan includes 500 call minutes a month, enough for around 250 bookings at a typical two-minute call, and there are no per-call or per-minute charges on top.
Calls simply pause until your month resets, and you'll see it coming on your dashboard well before it happens. The pause covers the whole line, including forwarding to your own phone if you've switched the receptionist off. You will never get a surprise overage bill; there is no such thing on this plan. If you regularly need more, email hello@vocalenda.com and we'll sort you out.
Yes, from your dashboard, and it takes effect at the end of your billing period. No phone call required, no retention script.
Because it's software doing one job extremely well: answering, booking, confirming. A good human receptionist does far more, and if you can justify one, hire one. Most independent salons and one-person businesses can't. That's exactly who this is priced for.
Set up in minutes, cancel from the dashboard, keep the bookings either way.
